All prices are per person unless otherwise stated.

Balinese and Indonesian Cooking Class
Join our women in the kitchen to help prepare your meal from our menu.

An introduction to Balinese writing.
Learn the characters and translate your own words into the Balinese language.

Learn how to make a variety of different Balinese table decorations that you can do at home.

Balinese Massage Instruction
Learn some of the techniques used in Balinese massage while you are being massaged.

Traditional Medicine & Balinese Healing Plants
Visit our local herbalist who will teach you some of the traditional medicines from
plants to heal the body for:
Fever, Stomach ache, Tooth ache, Muscle ache, Cough
Time = 2 hours with interpreter Price Rp. 200,000 (1-2 persons)
Traditional Balinese Carving
Sit with Pak Ketut, a local self taught carver. Choose your own design or a
traditional design made by Ketut.
For Beginner, Intermediate and advanced carvers
Ketut has carved most of the ornate work in our bungalows.
Traditional Wood Carving
Choose your design then join Ketut in the Carving Bale to create your piece.

Price: Rp350.000 including your carving to take home
Lime stone carving
This is an easier medium to carve, and is suitable for children as
well as adults.
Time = 2 hours Price Rp. 250,000 including your carving to take home
Basic Indonesian language

Balinese Temple offerings (Canang Sari)
Our local village women will show you how to make beautiful offerings for the temple

Learn to play the bamboo Rendik or Balinese flute.

Yoga
We have a Yoga Bale for your morning practice- yoga mats provided.
During the year we often have yoga teachers staying at the lodge who offer classes in the morning
Please enquire if there will be a yoga instructor during your stay.
